Another Armstrong

My brother Dan got married this weekend which means we officially have another Armstrong in the family!

Introducing Mrs. Tiffany Cargo Armstrong

Now I didn't take my camera to any of the events (I figured there would be enough floating around) so here is just a preview of the day...

All the Armstrong children: Ashleigh and I were bridesmaids and Roger was the Best Man

Ashleigh's little boy, Nathan was the ring bearer. He was so excited to wear his tux but when he looked down at his pillow and realized he didn't have any rings he was over his job and ready to quit...smart kid!

The rest of Ashleigh's kids looking excited as ever!

Roger, Kari and Kendall

Ashleigh and I at the head table after we walked out to our introduction/song...mine was 'Land Down Under' because they know how much I LOVE Australia :)

We have these looks on our faces because for the past 5 hours we've been wearing these...

Congratulations to the happy couple! May you have a lifetime of joy and happiness!

World of Colors

I'm back in California! Life down here always feels like vacation. It's been filled with trips to the beach, Disneyland, soccer games and now my brother's wedding is in his final countdown so that is starting consume all our lives.

It wouldn't be Southern California without a couple trips to Disneyland though and with their new show 'World of Color' most of our time has been spent in California Adventures. Sarah and Chad came down for their annual visit so we couldn't help but take pictures with all the wonderful colors California has to offer (we have our own version of fall colors)

EVERYONE has been talking about this show...literally everyone! I heard more about this show at my nephew's soccer game than anything related to soccer! Here I am with Sarah and Chad waiting for the show to begin. It's pretty amazing and definitely puts the Bellagio's show to shame.

So Long Utah

Nothing in my life sticks for very long but I have indeed returned to the wonderful land sometimes referred to as, Sunny So Cal. Before I left I couldn't resist taking an extra second to enjoy the mountains and the beautiful colors they had to offer.

I brought my camera up to work at Snowbird and did a mini-photo shoot with just me and the spectacular background. I often get asked, "Where is the best view?" My response is a bit cheeky but I tell them to stand in the middle and do a 360. I love that I get paid to sit and stare at such beauty.

Here are some of the colors captured on the ride up...

and...

The Red Tram! It's my favorite in the summertime. (The blue tram is my favorite in the winter...I have my reasons)

Here I am with my favorite ski run in the background. Oh Great Scott I can't wait until you're filled with snow :)

And finally, once you're on the peak:

Who wants to do this hike with me??? I've never done it but have always wanted to!

It was sunny, I couldn't help it :)

Working at Snowbird has worn me thin with all the politics in what's supposed to be a chill, ski bum work environment but I'm not sure I ever leave completely...the perks are far too good! I got off work early the other day and instead of leaving I decided to make my drive up the canyon worth it so I asked my friend in charge of the 4X4's if I could go for a ride. I scored a private 2hr tour for free!!!!!

It was perfect timing of the day, not too hot but not too cold and the sun was in the perfect spot!

Don't mind the dirt/dust on me, I was just ripping it up and couldn't help but get a little dirty

Here I am rinsing off ;)

So, moral of the story: I'm back in Sunny So Cal soaking up some quality beach time. Utah thanks for a righteous ski trip (yeah that's the reason I ventured out all the way back in Feb!) and I'm sure I'll be back in a couple weeks! Love ya long time!
