I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I'm still working out a few glitches with me posting pictures but I feel like I reached a huge mile stone today! Here are a couple pictures of me and my foreigner friends from Snowbird hiking an insanely difficult hike. We start at about 6:30am at approx 8,000ft and finish 2 hours later at 11,000ft. It seriously kicks your butt because 1)it's so freakin early! 2) that's a huge vertical climb for someone as out of shape as myself :) and 3) it's COLD!!! the higher you get the colder it gets even with the sun rising but the view and the satisfaction at the end makes everything worth it. I've done this hike twice now and the first time we did it there were a bunch of people that new we were planning on it and this cute grandpa like man that works for guest services was waiting at the top of the peak, all smiles cheering us on. Behind him came Emma one of the patrol dogs barking her head off....it was the warmest welcome I've ever had.
Oh and fyi the girl with the green beenie is named Sarah and she lived with me for the past 2 months and I'm traveling Australia with her!

Try #2

So the reason I initially started this blog was through a challenge to Snelgrove. She wanted to see pictures of what I was actually doing...apparently she needs proof or something of how dull my life truly is :) My first attempt was my first blog and as you can see, things didn't go so smoothly but with a little more coaching he goes try #2

These pictures are old but they kinda sum up what I've been up to the past couple of months...

...so I just tried to upload pictures but apparently my computer hates me and stops half way through uploading...I'll try again I promise!

I'm no energizer bunny but I'm still posting!

This whole blog thing might but be a little more complicated than I anticipated. I do have a college degree but I'm pretty sure I had a cute boy help me pass this class or something. I do want to say thanks to everyone reading this because it makes me feel like this isn't a complete waste of time!

To answer Brynn's question...yes I'm still in Utah. I mean who could leave Zion?!?!?! (sorry Snelgrove, we miss ya though!) I sadly don't have any plans to return to CA as of yet but I'm sure once my parents miss me enough they'll fix that. As for now I'm still working at Snowbird and hopefully I can find something to keep myself busy up there until I head to New Zealand and Australia in July

Anything for Y

So apparently you're not cool these days unless you have a blog.......so here goes my second! I've tried blogging before, got bored and then forgot my user name and password. I thought you were cool these days if you had a cell phone, myspace account and Tivo but apparently there is more in the world of technology than I thought. Hopefully I make the cut this time. I was told it was easy to post pictures....yeah I haven't figured that one out quite yet so this blog might not stick around as long as we all thought! My life seems a lot less eventful without pictures so when I figure things out I'll spice things up...fell free to lend a girl a hand!
